To give some idea of what Alexa Paul is looking for in an adoptive owner we quote an ad she ran in a local newspaper recently.
Basset Hounds need loving homes, must have fenced yard and couch.

These babies all started out their lives being "worth" so much - now they are grown up and need a friend. Their owner is "too busy" now. Please give them a chance at a new life!
Alexa charges $100 for each adoption. This fee helps defray the cost of a complete check over by the veteranarian.
