I am so glad to find your page! I'm attaching the fantasy portrait of my wonderful basset Butcher D.Dog. I'm the chair of the computer animation dept. at the Art Institute of Ft. Lauderdale, and I do these fantasy portraits of pets. I've done 2 bassets besides Butcher. I ask the owners what their pet's favorite things, toys etc are and then a create the fantasy portrait. Anyway, I got Butcher from a pet store at a mall (big time puppy mill) He had kennel cough and was a mess. He is six now and is the most wonderful, earnest, sweetest creature I have ever encountered. Will you put Butcher in your gallery? I'd like to send another Basset portrairt of my friend Donna's Basset, Huey... but I'd better ask her if it's O.K. first.
Anyway...you guys are great.
Here are three pictures of my Basset Hound, Mocca. #1 was taken about 3 months ago and #2
about 5 months ago. #3 was taken when she was about 8 months old. These are
my three favorite pixs of my babe.
Mocca is a typical Basset in that she eats like a horse and is ruled by her nose.
Most of all she loves walks in the park and the beach....her favorite thing to
eat is Iams doggy treats.
Hi, I'm Tammy Joon, I was born in Dec. '94. I share my Edgewood, Ky. home with my parents John and Connie Richardson, an Australian terrier named Tillie, and two, ugh, cats, Lindsey and Fritz. My favorite things are rawhides and using the cats for playtime.
Hello, I recently sent you a picture of our Basset "Murray". I was in a hurry so I was unable to write much. My wife and I have a question or two regarding our now 14 month old Basset.
1) When is he going to chill out?
2) Why all the humping after he was fixed?
3) Why so difficult to train?
4) Why is he so darn cute?
By the way do you know how we can find out when the local (San Diego) basset convention is coming back?
