Native of Lewiston, Maine (the Rhinestone of the Androscoggin), Paul began performing at the tender age of 13 in the "Blind Children's Resource Center Singing Group". It was about this time that Paul kidnapped his sister's guitar and taught himself to play. Along the way, Paul has augmented his skills with the passionate coaching of other talented players. Paul played in a combo throughout high school, while launching his solo career, playing backyard BBQ's, clubs, and concert halls. Also a songwriter, he has been heard at Carnegie Hall, and been winner of the Downeast Country Music Association Folk Award, and Acoustic Instrumentalist of the Year. As front man for "Triple Threat LTD", Paul had the honor of sharing the stage with Grammy Award winner, Alison Krauss and Union Station". As front man for Zingo Zango, he and his fellow jugheads have thusfar generated three awards in as many years.
