Summer Residents
The photograph above: is the poor little 'summertime only' residence of Bill and Jeannette Curnyn after a light pre-spring snow. Looking closely at the birch trees, you'd swear you see tiny new leaves struggling toward the low winter sun - then you realize pre-spring means its still XX degrees below zero degrees Fahrenheit. Perhaps one day, Bill will change his summer residents from 'away' identity and become a local citizen, winterizing his poor little 'summertime only' residence, and enjoy the Northwestern Wilderness Of Maine dressed in its winter apparel.
The Northwestern Wilderness Of Maine was a great place to be a teenager. I can still hear the call of a Loon, as I drift off to sleep.

As many may already know, we are often surprised by the continuation of winter in this part of the world.
